I think that’s absolutely disgraceful actually, because the Environment Agency are the organisation that is supposed to manage the coast, and they should have a plan for dealing with a major storm surge impact on the coast, and we've got these hundreds and hundreds of pages of these current plans, which basically they are saying are useless at the present time, in terms of helping them decide how they should manage the coast from now onwards.

It seems to me that's a failure of management, because we really ought to have coastal planning that is robust enough to deal with a big storm surge, and the experience from the 5th of December shows that it’s not."
