"A lot of stakeholders were involved during the entire process of the master plan. In fact, during the studies of the master plan, a lot of information meetings were organized. In the early stage of the process, it were mainly the municipalities and the coastal towns that were invited and involved in the process. They could highlight specific problems like land use and also explain special activities and plans that were already in place or foreseen. This information and ideas could be shared during the meetings and were useful to the study as well. These meetings were organized every time new elements were added to the study e.g. different types of measures, first list of the weak links, etc. The stakeholders were actually informed in every stage of the study, even before the large public was informed."
