“There is [no participatory process in the community]. The council created an interest group table to discuss on beaches one year ago but it has not been launched in practice. This is a country with an extensive experience on coastal issues, so this means that there are people able to do it, so the only thing missing is dialogue. The administration responsible of the public coastal domain is not well seen by part of the Catalan society. An integrated management plan is needed… In practice, no step forward has been given. There is not too much interest in the prioritization of problems."
